Chet Holmgren also made significant contributions to the Thunder’s success, recording 15 points along with a season-high 15 rebounds—just two shy of his career best. This victory marked Oklahoma City’s fourth consecutive win following a brief two-game losing streak earlier in the season.
Will Richard added 13 points and five rebounds to the mix, while both Al Horford and Moses Moody matched that score with 13 points each. Pat Spencer facilitated the offense effectively, dishing out 11 assists against the defending champions. Notably, the Thunder had previously lost their last two road games but had come away with a victory at Golden State just a month prior, winning 124-112 on December 2.
At one point in the second quarter, Richard’s 3-pointer brought the Warriors within two points at 38-36, but the Thunder responded fiercely, launching a 19-0 scoring run that allowed them to take a commanding 64-45 lead by halftime.
Looking ahead, the Thunder will visit Phoenix on Sunday, while the Warriors are set to host the Jazz on Saturday night, completing a back-to-back schedule.
