Get ready for a frosty adventure as Pikmin Bloom celebrates its 4th anniversary with a cool twist! The Ice Pikmin are here, bringing a sparkly surprise to your gaming experience.
Starting November 1st, these icy Pikmin will make their debut, adding a refreshing element to your Pikmin Bloom journey. Initially, you'll find Ice Pikmin seedlings near Restaurant and Roadside locations, and as you nurture your friendship with these frosty friends, they'll evolve into unique Decor Pikmin.
But here's where it gets interesting: Ice Pikmin grown from Restaurant seedlings will become Chef Hat Decor Pikmin, while those from Roadside locations will transform into Sticker or Coin Decor Pikmin. And for all Coin Decor Pikmin, a rare Decor option will be unlocked, adding an extra layer of excitement.
The celebrations continue with the 4th Anniversary Flower Box Event, kicking off this November. For the first time ever, the special monthly Decor Pikmin, the 4th Anniversary Flower Box, will be available for Ice Pikmin. Additionally, the 3rd Anniversary Cupcake and Puzzle: Autumn Memories 2021 Decor Pikmin will join the party, creating a festive atmosphere.
And this is the part most people miss: During the event, you'll have the chance to earn seedlings for the 4th Anniversary Flower Box Decor Pikmin by completing Clear Event Challenge missions. Each mission cleared rewards you with random in-app goodies, including Colorful Flowers, flower petals, and the chance to obtain a Gold Seedling when the Big Flower blooms.
But wait, there's more! As part of the 4th Anniversary celebrations, you'll receive a guaranteed Gold Seedling for a 4th Anniversary Flower Box Decor Pikmin after walking 1,000 steps and clearing the first Event Challenge mission. Talk about a sweet reward!
Clear Event missions not only help you obtain seedlings but also unlock festive Mii character costumes. At the start of the event, you'll receive missions to collect Colorful Flowers, and by completing them, you'll unlock seedlings for Puzzle: 2021 Fall Memories and some stylish event-inspired Mii outfits.
Now, here's a controversial strategy: During the event, you might encounter Brilliant Mushrooms. Destroying these mushrooms will reward you with Mystery Boxes containing Colorful Flowers and seedlings for 3rd Anniversary Cupcake Decor Pikmin. However, the strongest Pikmin against these mushrooms are the 4th Anniversary Flower Box, 3rd Anniversary Cupcake, and Puzzle: 2021 Fall Memories Decor Pikmin. So, should you focus on these powerful Pikmin or experiment with different strategies? The choice is yours!
If you're a Pikmin 4 player on Nintendo Switch, there's even more excitement in store for you this November! A free update will introduce the Relaxed Creature Activity Level, where enemies are less aggressive and take more damage. It's a great option for casual players or those looking for a more laid-back experience.
But for the veterans out there, the Fierce Creature Activity Level awaits, offering a true test of your skills with tougher enemies and fewer Pikmin to command.
This update also brings Decor Pikmin to Pikmin 4 for the first time! Keep an eye out for Pikmin wearing special outfits and use the Field Camera to capture their stylish moments. Not only can you add these unique Pikmin to your squad, but you can also edit your photos with fun stamps and filters, making your gaming memories even more memorable.
All these features will be available in the free Nintendo eShop demo, so you can dive into the world of Pikmin 4 and explore its new additions.

Once the event ends, these Colorful Flowers missions will disappear, so make the most of them while you can!
