In a recent hearing, Justice Datuk Norsharidah Awang emphasized the need to expand the search beyond the state of Kelantan, urging the police to cast a wider net and include states like Kedah and Perak. This development comes as a crucial step forward in the ongoing quest to locate Indira's ex-husband, Muhammad Riduan Abdullah, and their missing daughter, Prasana Diksa.

During the hearing, Indira's lawyer, N. Rajesh, questioned the police's focus on Kelantan, given that Riduan's second wife is from that state. Rajesh pointed out that Riduan, formerly known as K. Pathmanathan, had seemingly utilized government aid and subsidies, indicating his presence within the country.
The lawyer also challenged the police's earlier belief that Riduan was not in the country, questioning the basis for this assumption.

Justice Norsharidah highlighted the simplicity of the matter, stating that authorities should be able to trace Riduan's movements based on his bank card usage and refueling records. She expressed frustration with the lack of progress, stating, "The case has been ongoing for many years, and there needs to be more proactive updates."
In a bold move, the judge ordered future affidavits to broaden their scope beyond Kelantan, urging closer coordination with Immigration to block all entry and exit points in the country to trace Riduan.
The next hearing is set for February 27th, with the court's decision to widen the search offering a glimmer of hope in this long-standing case.
